supporting and empowering individuals and community toward wellness, healing and sustainable health

Ever wondered what it is like to be a "Topgun"? Well strap in and hang on because 'It's Game On!' Get ready for the ride of your life in the big blue skies of Perth, Western Australia. Fighter Combat International (FCI) operate four CJ-6A Nanchang Chinese Trainers in a military style combat adventure flight like you've never experienced before!
After your pre-flight mission briefing, you will experience first hand the art of close formation as used by Air Forces around the world. Over the combat area we split the formation and your pilot will take you through a series of aerobatic manoeuvres including loops, rolls, wing overs and stall turns to name a few. Then, diving and turning to gain position behind your opponent, your pilot will then try to gain the advantage in an aerial dogfight - the race to get on the other six first - or go down in flames! Your pilot will manoeuvre the aircraft at rates up to 4G whilst explaining the tactics being used by each crew, using real military techniques and procedures to ensure the highest level in safety and comfort. Your flight will conclude with a breathtaking low level run along the reef before re-joining the formation and returning to base.
Fighter Combat International has a core mission of sharing the experience of military flying with the general public. Their Warbirds are genuine ex-military aircraft, and the pilots are former or current military flying instructors. Their philosophy and procedures are based on the style of an air force squadron, while the 'combat formation' adventure flight offered is unique to civilian flying.
Make your way to Jandakot Airport by 9am on your designated day. You can get there via the Kwinana Freeway and Roe Highway. It is well sign posted or follow these directions: 1. Here you will be given a full run-down about the flight, safety issues and exactly what is going to happen. Then it's time to strap in, complete the cockpit safety briefing and get ready to hold on! As the 9-cylinder 285 horse power radial engines fire into life you can feel the excitement build. It is only a short taxi and flight out to the combat area before you will be doing something only a few have had the chance to experience.
