supporting and empowering individuals and community toward wellness, healing and sustainable health

Have you ever considered skydiving before but never had the courage? Jumping from a plane could be the most exciting thing you ever do in your life, so put aside your fears and join CSA for challenge 4! Your jump will take place from the dropzone in Pinjarra. You'll be taken up at least 8,000 feet on a Cesna light plane where you will enjoy spectacular aerial views which range from beyond the city of Perth, out to Rottnest Island, Garden Island and as far south as Bunbury. Secured to your licensed Tandem Master you will freefall from the plane at 200kmh before your parachute opens and you drift down to earth together.
Your jump will take place from the dropzone in Pinjarra, and you will be allocated an experienced, licensed Academy Tandem Master. Before you get on the plane you will suit up and be given a 20 minute briefing to show you exactly what is involved and what to do. You are secured to the front of your Tandem Master prior to exiting the aircraft, throughout the 200km/h freefall, the parachute ride and landing...easy!
WA Skydiving Academy have been operating for over 20 years and have a proven, excellent safety record. The academy has a highly experienced team of Instructors, Pilots, Tandem Masters and Freefall cameramen on hand led by Robin O'Neill, a founding member of the Academy. With over 4,000 jumps to his credit Robin has worked on various drop zones throughout Australia and New Zealand. He is involved in all the aspects of the Academy's training program and is responsible for day-to-day running and co-ordination of operations and is the Chief Instructor at the Academy.
We will let you know in advance what time you need to be ready at the dropzone at Pinjarra on your nominated day. The site is approximately 80km south of Perth and takes about 30 minutes to drive from Armadale on the South West Highway (HWY 20). Or, if you're coming from Mandurah only 15 minutes along the Pinjarra Road. Turn at the Premier Hotel onto the Williams - Dwellingup Road and the Academy is located about 4 kms on your right.
