Ever wanted to do something exciting with your life, like be a fighter pilot, racing car driver, underwater adventurer or jump from a plane at 8,000 ft?
CSA Challenge Week 2008 is the chance you've been waiting for to fulfil your dreams, go to the limits of your fear, and be what you've always wanted to be! At the same time you will be giving something to the community by supporting a cancer charity.
We've come up with four amazing challenges which you can do for FREE. To participate in Challenge Week we require you to raise sponsorship dollars for the events of your choice with all proceeds going to the Cancer Support Association of Western Australia Inc to help people in WA with cancer
Be a 'Topgun' on a military style combat adventure flight
Ever wondered what it is like to be a "Topgun"? Well strap in and hang on because Challenge 1 is 'Game On!' Sign up for the for the flight of your life in the big blue skies of Perth, WA. During Challenge Week 2008 Fighter Combat International (FCI) are offering you the chance to fly in one of their CJ-6A Nanchang Chinese Trainers in a military style combat adventure flight like you've never experienced before! Your pilot will take you through a series of aerobatic manoeuvres including loops, rolls, wing overs and stall turns to name a few. Then, diving and turning to gain position behind your opponent, your pilot will then try to gain the advantage in an aerial dogfight - the race to get on the other six first - or go down in flames!
A day of Bathurst style V8 racing at Barbagallo Raceway
Get behind the wheel of one of Trackskill's V8 racecars in a Bathurst style race at Barbagallo Raceway with pitstops and driver changes with expert instruction in complete safety in Challenge 2. Work closely with your CAMS licensed instructor and team mates to develop strategies and techniques for qualifying and racing. Learn trail braking, racing lines, improve visual skills and maximise car control. This is all part of the full-day Trackskill V8 Race Day: professional instructors cater for any level of driver; everything is provided; race suits, helmets and gourmet lunch and refreshments; drive your arms off sharing a car with 3 team mates; complete around 20 laps behind the wheel; expert tuition - theory and practical; Bathurst style race; achievement certificate at the end of the day; winner's trophies; improved driving knowledge and techniques.
Explore the underwater depths in the crystal clear waters off Carnac Island
Are you ready for an underwater challenge? In Challenge 3 you will disappear into the depths for the experience of a lifetime. Diving is relaxing, action-packed, tranquil, adrenaline pumping, adventurous and more! Can you imagine diving in the crystal clear water off Carnac Island, surrounded by diverse reefs and marine life? You and your buddy put on your dive equipment, enter the water and explore the world beneath the ocean -- all the while hovering weightlessly. This is your opportunity to make this dream reality. Are you up for the challenge?
Jump from a Cesna at 8,000 feet, freefall at 200kmh & parachute back to earth
Do you have what it takes to tandem dive from a plane at 8,000 feet? Jumping from a plane could be the most exciting thing you ever do in your life, so put aside your fears and join CSA for challenge 4! Your jump will take place from the dropzone in Pinjarra. You'll be taken up at least 8,000 feet on a Cesna light plane where you will enjoy spectacular aerial views which range from beyond the city of Perth, to Rottnest Island, Garden Island and as far south as Bunbury. Secured to your licensed Tandem Master you will freefall from the plane at 200kmh before your parachute opens and you drift down to earth together.

Registration
We need you to register on this site for Challenge Week events. You can submit all of your details in a few easy steps, and this will secure your place for the challenges of your choice on the days that suit you. Please note there are strictly limited places
in each challenge so register early!
Sponsorship
To participate in these challenges we require you to raise sponsorship dollars for each challenge. To participate in either challenge 1 or 2 you will need to raise at least $1,000 with extra rewards if you raise more. To participate in challenge 3 or 4 you need to raise at least $500. Good luck! All proceeds go to the Cancer Support Association of Western Australia Inc to help people in WA with cancer. You can download the sponsorship form, then collect your pledges in writing from family, friends, colleagues and neighbours.
Prizes
If you raise lots of sponsorship dollars for CSA you may be eligible for a great prize. Participants in the Skydiving or Scuba Diving Challenges who raise more that $800 will automatically receive a Dinner for Two at the Hog's Breath Cafe. Participants in the Fighter Pilot or Race Car Drive Challenges who raise more than $1,500 will automatically receive 2 night's accommodation at All Seasons Resort in Margaret River for 2 people. Payment
You and your sponsors will need to make all payments online via BEFORE you participate in your Challenge. To be eligible for your event all money must be paid in advance. You can keep an eye on your sponsorship dollars by going to the Challenge Participants List and checking the amount paid against your name and Registration ID. All proceeds from Challenge Week go directly to Cancer Support Association to help people in WA with cancer. Your sponsor's payment is tax deductible, and they will be issued with a tax invoice.
