Cancer Support Association Appeals

You can donate money to the Cancer Support Association of Western Australia Inc to help them support individuals and families with cancer, or by selecting a specific appeal your donation will be used for that purpose only. Our current appeals are:

Cancer Support Online
Your donation will be used towards developing Cancer Support Association's online services such as free online counselling for people with cancer, live cancer Chatroom and Members' Bulletin Board.

Email Appeal
The Cancer Support Association is a non-profit organisation which relies on fundraising and donations to provide support services for people in WA with cancer and their families. We conduct mail and email appeals twice a year in which we request our members and supporters make a donation to help us continue to make a difference to individuals dealing with the trauma of a cancer diagnosis and the ongoing challenges the disease presents.

Barefoot for Cancer
Support Lee, our barefoot warrior, as he embarks on an attempt to be the first person to run barefoot across the Nullabor.  Lee is undertaking this daring attempt to raise money for people in WA living with cancer. He watched his best friend's family struggle with the death of their young daughter from cancer, and this is Lee's way of doing something to help. All proceeds go to the Cancer Support Association and the Make a Wish Foundation.

Martinet Appeal
Damiana Martinet was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2007 and suffered complications including a massive brain stem stroke which has left her 'locked in' -- unable to speak or move any part of her body except her left eye, yet still able to think and reason. Donations to the Martinet Appeal go directly to the Martinet family who are raising funds for a stem cell treatment procedure which may enable Damiana to speak and walk again.
