Solaris Cancer Care offers unconditional support to all people in Western Australia affected by cancer, including carers and family members, through all stages of the illness, including long term survivors and bereaved families.
Solaris Cancer Care operates from Wanslea House, situated within the Cancer Wellness Centre in Cottesloe. A heritage site managed by the National Trust and redeveloped with funding from Lotterywest, Brady Cancer Foundation and BHP Billiton Nickel West, the building exudes peace and tranquillity from the moment you step through the door.
Solaris Cancer Care's programs cover important areas of wellbeing for individuals with cancer and their families. In offering personalised support services, Solaris Cancer Care can personalise programs to integrate with chosen lifestyle and treatment regimes.
The organisation is managed by a Chief Executive Officer supported by a Board of Directors (volunteers) and a leadership team.
In June 2017 Cancer Support WA merged with SolarisCare, an established hospital based complementary and integrative therapies provider, to form the new Solaris Cancer Care. The ongoing ethos will continue to be centred around kind, caring support, education and wellness. Together we can offer continuity of care from diagnosis and treatment onwards, for as long as you feel you derive benefit from our support.
