Envisioning the End of Life Discussion
A good life is bound to end, and this frank, open workshop is a facilitated exploration of what it might mean to live and die well. It can be a tough topic to broach with loved ones, so why not join together with those who want to step into the sometimes taboo topics of palliative care, death and dying.
Time: 1pm – 2.30pm
Date: 21st November
Facilitator: Julie Verley
Venue: Wanslea room
Change is an inevitable part of life.
To a large extent, how change affects us is down to how we react to it; in other words our attitude.
It is said the only constant in the world is change. Nothing stays the same forever, however for many of us change can be an unsettling time and we may feel scared, anxious or even angry.
Join Kirsty Wood in this workshop to look at our attitudes towards change and how we can better approach change.
Susi Matthews and Sandy Gorman- Managing a Terminal Diagnosis
Susi's story is compelling. On multiple occasions she's been advised to prepare for the end of her life, yet here she is, still standing and wanting to share her insights with you.
